About the Project

The goal of the Working Parent Study is ultimately to improve the health and well-being of working parents/caregivers and their families. We aim to increase knowledge about work and personal experiences that have an impact on parental leave, return to work, and parenthood of infants and young children, and to educate businesses and supervisors about policies and practices that will better support their employees.

How will we accomplish this?

We are inviting pregnant working mothers and their spouse/partner (if applicable) to complete a few online surveys at various points in time – from before delivery until about 12-months post-partum. We will use the information we obtain from these surveys to provide recommendations to working parents, business leaders and supervisors.
